認識MIKA的人不難聽出這首歌要表達的主題，是向男同性戀者致敬，激勵他前進。
在歌曲中提到了許多名字，是在文藝界(詩人們)和演藝界的同性戀者。
其中歌詞的一句 "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars" 是暗引了Oscar Wilde(奧斯卡王爾德，愛爾蘭同性戀作家)的句子。
不過現在世界有越來越多尊重同性戀者的法規，所以有關同性戀的話題已經不那麼敏感了吧。
對了，MIKA今年的專輯"No Place In Heaven"要在六月十五日出來啦，收綠了之前的主打歌"Talk About You", "Last Party" 及這首"Good Guys"

從以前就很喜歡Mika的歌聲 lollipop還有celebrate歌曲裡都充滿著歡樂 好喜歡你介紹的這首 最近同志這話題在美國相當熱門 翻譯翻的好棒 你寫了好多文章 我都不知從哪看起 有許多你介紹的歌我還蠻喜歡的:)))
