Gavin James在我心中有著無可取代的位置。

兩張專輯《Bitter Pill》、《Only Ticket Home》分別於2015和2018年秋冬發行，就這麼碰巧，是我當考生的那兩個秋冬。有無數迷茫的、壓抑的、寂寞的、小鹿亂撞的悲歡歲月，是在他的歌聲中度過的。

Gavin James曾在採訪裡提到，他希望他的音樂能讓人睡前聽。

對我而言，他確確實實做到了。從前那個對愛爾蘭音樂文化痴狂的國中生，到現在這個沉迷裁縫與乾燥花的大學仔，每每在夜闌人靜聆聽〈Nervous〉，無瑕的"oooooooo”假音帶給我的那份悸動不曾消失過。
